How Often Should I Use The O’LEA Facial Steamer?
When using the O’LEA Facial Steamer alone, once or twice is enough per week. We understand the steam can feel amazing however, using the steamer too much can cause harm to the skin.
The O’LEA Facial Cleanser is the second step of the facial treatment order. Immediately after using the O’LEA Platinum Roller and before using the O’LEA HydraFacial Skin Cleanser.
We would advise you to contact your local skin care doctor for advice on the amount of times to use a facial steamer.
How to Use the O’LEA Facial Steamer?
Before first use please let it run with a full tank of water to remove the ‘new plastic smell'.
Step 1 – Fill up the O’LEA Facial Steamer as directed on the instructions booklet. Place the steamer on a table near but not close to an outlet so you can plug in the steamer. After doing so, allow a minute for the steamer to get ready.
Step 2 - Secure your hair so that it’s off your face and wash your face using a gentle exfoliating cleanser (It’s your choice what type of exfoliator to use)
Step 3 - Have a seat and get comfortable. Set your face inside the cone attachment whilst having a towel over the head to prevent any steam escaping. Whilst doing this, stay 8 inches away as it says in your O’LEA Facial Steamer’s instruction booklet.
Step 4 - Steam for 2 or 3 minutes at a time with a 1-minute break in between to see how your skin is handling the steam. Please do not move the machine during use.
Step 5 - After each usage, please cool down the machine for a few minutes. Then drain the water tank.
